i had a man explain to me yesterday how his Mother had dementia and had reached the sundowner stage. getting up in the early hours of the morning...upsetting the family routine. The lady had a bad fall down some stairs....and as if by magic...the dementia was gone...and her white hair was turning dark again. I had a flash of insight and asked him "was it vascular related dementia" yes he replied. Then i clicked. The waste build up in the body (as mentioned in the original post) can and does cause an impaired and diminished blood flow to the brain. Without the blood flow the brain is not getting the oxygen and glucose it needs to function correctly. The falls of the patients...in one case..caused a vascular obstruction that brought on the dementia. In the other lady, the 'head over heels fall down the stairs" the son described cleared the obstructed vascular pathways. I hope this all is easy to understand. Drinking Distilled water will help tremendously to clear away deposited inorganic minerals in the vascular system. And taking tumeric powder (no black pepper) and a little cayenne pepper daily will regulate the circulation. It is hot...so begin with 1/8 teaspoon ..add some plain full fat yoghurt and a little honey and a dash of warm distilled water. Drink i down before meals. slowly build up to 1 teaspoon 2 or 3 times daily before meals. In addition to greatly improving the circulation to the brain, it has a myriad of other health benefits...not the least of which is heart health...easy to google the benefits...and no side effects

I'm not a doctor but have read that when an individual has a weak brain; anything dramatic can trigger the condition and make it more noticeable. A fall, medications, surgery, hospital.
I would install RING camera in his house. We did this for my mom 3 years ago and it was like an angel watching over her.
We see my mom in the kitchen and Front entrance.
This helps you see what is really going on all day and there is no guessing especially falls. Plus during her moments of anxiety - i can talk to my mom through the camera or know i should phone her to comfort her for that moment.
Honestly, i told her doctor about this and now her doctor recommends the camera to all her patients families. Good Luck.
