I have worked for businesses that leased employees to companies
What would you suggested for caregiver employees

THE AGE OLD MANTRA: I WANT TO GO HOME:

Jolene Brackery writes in Creating Moments of Joy:
New found Response to "I want to go home"
"When they ask to go home, they might be asking permission to leave
this world. It should be OK to go home ..."

"It is more difficult for a person with dementia to "go home"

Maybe your LO is using different words to asking permission to leave
this world?

Are you ready and able to grant LO permission?

My guess is mom does like him better because he doesn't argue with her. Tina, I assume you are at work 9-5 so how do you know what he does or does not do? Set up a nanny cam and you might be surprised.
Most caregivers here would give their right arm to have this guy around.
Don't fire him. Observe how he interacts with mom. Does she smile in his care? Oh, man when I am her age I would love to have a pool boy.
I would probably keep him and fire the daughter. Sorry, just being honest.

I'm with pamstegman. Let me know if/when you get ride of your male caregiver. Send him over here. I'm sure my mom would love him as well......and I know I would. Some male companionship would probably do us both wonders. cadams

f you are not familiar with the term “PEO” the first question that usually comes to mind is, “What is a PEO?” A PEO company, or Professional Employer Organization, is defined as a business entity that provides human resources outsourcing services to a client through the use of a co-employment relationship.

It costs me a small weekly fee for their services, in exchange, I have no responsibility for taxes, insurance, etc. All of this is automatically drafted from my bank account and electronically transferred to the employee, less the amount of deductions and their fee.

I would never have a male with my mom unless i was supervising. Get nanny cams yes! You need 2 bathrooms if you put a cam in there. Ive had them for years. You would be shocked how fake people are.

Re: ladypamelade Jan 14: please do not misunderstand my previous posts. Some POA documents are different from those you may employ. Those that I am familiar with do allow their POA to intervene as I suggested, with no doctor's note needed. YMMV.
