Search for personal bathing wipes on the internet or in your local drug store. They are lightly scented; not obnoxious. I used them on my husband when he was confined to bed at home, and use them for myself on days when I don't feel up to showering. You can reach every part of the person including between the toes.

You beat me to it. I'm an able bodied adult but don't like getting undressed to shower. So I use the personal bathing wipes. I also have a heater in my bathroom but only have to undress the part I'm cleaning and then put on fresh and move on to the next area. They are not rough on the skin, leave you silky and clean and you smell great.

could she wear a light weight gown (nothing long). over her head with no undies. so she is covered but the water and soap can still be used. and can lift gown to clean private parts? is it possible to hang a shower curtain? a portable heater that can blow warm air in her direction?
edit. also she needs to really understand besides the smelly issue. is her skin could end up getting funky too. like maybe an infection - I don't know?

There are great no rinse bath and hair products as well as disposable wipes but I personally don't think they are good enough for the long term. Some people on the forum have really liked those stair lifts that are advertised so often, have you considered that? If that or a renovation isn't in the budget she could certainly sit down (either on the toilet or on a shower chair)in the half bath while she washes from the sink or a basin. A good option for keeping her private area clean would be a toilet bidet, they range from an inexpensive sprayer attachment to $$ heated seats with warm water and a blow dryer, if you haven't heard of them you should check them out on the web.

A few thoughts come to mind for you to consider. Can you bring the shower chair into the half bath so she can sit while she gives herself a wash cloth wash down?
Can you buy those huge bath cloths that are disposable ? They are listed on the internet as personal bath cloths or disposable bath wipes.
