Find Care & Housing
DHAunt had a service contact me to come to her home to trim her nails. They got my number from her home health company. After she went into a facility, the facility arranged for it to be done. You might call the HH in your area and ask if they know of a provider who does this.

My father's regular doctor gave him the name of a podiatrist that made house calls. Or you can google it. Medicare will pay for it. Since your husband is homebound, his doctor can also arrange for a nurse to do home visits through medicare.

Try a podiatrist and see if he comes to the house. I handled Moms bills, she went to a podiatrist every 10 weeks. This is what Medicare pays. She never owed more than $15 or $20 after supplemental paid. And that balance was because Moms supplemental had a share clause.

In my retirement community magazine, I’ve seen ads placed by an RN who comes to the house for nail-trimming services. This is an over-55 age group. I’m sure that any place where seniors live, such as independent or assisted living, there would be someone who does this. Try calling and asking if they have contact info in their files that they’d share.

Can I ask if your Husband's situation of being home-bound recent? Will be it temporary? Or will this be ongoing?

I ask to gauge whether you need a short term solutuon for just this one issue or if a solid care plan will be needed to encircle all his needs - and yours.

We have a podiatrist that comes to my parents' home. You can check for one in your area if legal. It may depend on the state. Not sure if there are different state regulations for this.

Good luck.

But he's "homebound" so I believe the OP was asking about any services that may come to their home.
I'm personally not aware of any, unless you're friends with someone at the nail salon and they would come to your home to give a pedicure.
