If so, how did that work out for your loved one? What were the pros and cons?

I live in a big metro area and needed a place that allowed smoking as my mom refused to quit. This was four years ago. I called what felt like a million places on my own. Finally I tried A Place for Mom and talked with Julian, if I remember correctly. He was my only contact. Within two days he found the right fit for us.

We paid no extra fees or anything to them. Mom's place was pretty pricey, but they all are. :(

When her old place's smoking room closed we moved her closer to us as I knew what was available on my own. She's now e-cig only and is okay with that, and it is less expensive.

I wouldn't hesitate to at least give them a shot. They helped me find what I needed at a very stressful time and they were respectful and considerate.

Geez, I sound like an infomercial. I'm really just a cranky part time caregiver as evidenced by my posts here should anyone question my validity. :)

I called them, but they recommended the places we had already talked to and they called me multiple times per day, always a different person. It seemed like a real heavy duty marketing effort so I asked them to stop calling. To their credit, they stopped immediately. I'd love to hear from other people who actually used their services!
