Find Care & Housing
I have seen advertisements for a personal alert for whenever someone falls there is an automatic response, but have not seen anything say if a person was just sitting and passes out. Does the person in question still live alone or part-time alone in a home?

Lifeline (and others I'm sure) also has a service that requires you to check in every day, if you miss a day they initiate a response.

Some caregivers are going with digital cameras. I have seen posts on this site and people claim they are easy to set up and use. Someone mentioned "drop cam" I think.

There are some pendants with $55 a monthly charge, that claim to detect falls. However we have had several false alarms with that system (Philips LLifeline ). It might work for some people, but not for my mom. Plus it is difficult to find out where to Return the pendant, and get those monthly bills to stop. We went on Amazon and bought a different brand, which has absolutely no monthly fees, and she likes it much better.
