Hello everyone! I know it was my fault cause I forgot to check the pouch. I'm not aware that there are still more receipts there for last month. She told me that she won't tolerate that I must pay them.. I told her I will not..She's very angry at us (my reliever) I'm so stressed she's talking too much and it seems like we're stupid.. the receipts are here with me so what's the problem? She said she already submitted to the conservator.. ..what should I do?

Ok, I am reading between the lines a bit.

You purchased groceries for your client. I think you used your funds and expect to be reimbursed.

You forgot to put the receipts in the pouch last month. The contents of the pouch have already been sent to the conservator for reimbursement.

You still have the receipts and want to submit them now, but someone is refusing to forward them to the conservator?

Two options off the top of my head. One, call the conservator and let them know you made a mistake and ask if you can drop off the receipts and be reimbursed right away. Two put the receipts in the pouch for October, makes photo copies of them and attach a note explaining what happened in September. You would have to wait longer to be reimbursed.

I think your best bet is to talk to the conservator if the other person is not willing to help you out.

If doing the shopping is part of your job, you need to figure out a better system to make sure the receipts get put in the right place. Also if you have a cell phone put a reminder on the calendar before the end of the month to make sure you submit your receipts.

It is disturbing to read about a genetic links in diseases like Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, etc. Some conditions run in families but there isn’t a genetic link or they haven’t found one yet.

My mom has Parkinson’s disease and it is scary to watch parents decline with disease. We feel horribly for them. We wonder if we will develop the disease as well. Mom’s brother had Parkinson’s disease too. Neither her mom or dad had it.

Daddy had cancer that he beat, heart disease and a stroke.

Every doctor takes a solid family history so there is validity to genetics. It’s not a guarantee that it will or will not occur in our lives.

First, you should not be paying for clients groceries and being reimbursed. There needs to be another set up. Maybe a debit card set up with an amount put on to just to cover groceries. Then you put the receipt in the pouch so conservator has backup for the money you spent. Maybe getting gift cards for that grocery store and then supplying the receipts.

I agree, she has Dementia, no idea really of what is going on so just put the receipts in the pouch with a note. Whats the difference if the conservator pays u this month or next month. The conservator has the proof that the groceries were purchased.

If this is how you have been doing it, you pay up front and get reimbursed I would talk to your supervisor about this. I would never use my own money in this type of situation and leave it up to someone else to reimburse me. Or, does the pouch have money in it and you forgot to take it? It really doesn't matter. You need to be reimbursed. If the conservator refuses, then talk to your supervisor.
