Couple questions..
Is she in a room by herself?
If so would it not be better to have the staff get her into the common area and she can watch TV with others and not be isolated?

If you want the TV in her room on can the staff turn it on? Granted they are not going to go in every half hour and change to another station.

Now I do not have Alexa but is it possible to have that added to her room and you can control the Alexa? (I am not tech savvy so I don't know)

And again not sure if this would work but if you do not need to change the station is it possible to hook a timer to the TV so it comes on at a set time and goes off at a set time? (Much like holiday lights are controlled.)

That's the staff's job. It's what they're paid to do.

Ask maintenance to do it.

I noticed that the staff always set Moms TV to the news. I set it to the ME channel. It has all the old TV shows. I doubt if she really needs the stations changed. They really can't process what is going on that well. Mom thought Dick VanDyke was a real Dr. That the building on Emergency that was on fire was my house.

Mom was mostly out in the Common area so really wasn't in her room that much.
