Find Care & Housing
If you let her stay in bed, her muscles and skin will go into a preliminary version of rigormortis and become so tight that she will be bedridden as well as her skin will become very brittle. What you don't move on a regular basis you loose the mobility as well as strength of it. She needs to get out of that bed every day and move around for more than just eating food. Even sitting too long in one place makes the body stiff.

Is she able to wash and dress herself and get in and out of bed by herself. Would you be able to have a recliner in another room that she could sit in during the day-is she able to sleep at night is this a change for her if she is not upsetting the household and seems ok she might just want to be alone does she have a tv in her room or does she enjoy reading if she is not bothering anyone why not let her continue to live this way.
