I'm not sure what you are asking? Generally people draw up a POA, Last Will and Testament, Living Will etc to prepare for future events. Appointing someone as your POA gives them the authority to act as your agent . Sometimes POA's take effect immediately, and the named person can then help to conduct your business for you if you find it difficult or inconvenient. Sometimes the POA doesn't come into effect until the individual has been deemed incompetent by a medical professional. In either case the POA is only acting as your agent and advocate, their own finances should be kept separate from yours, and they are not personally liable for any debt or payments you owe.
