Hi, my dad use diapers overnight but he still gets wet. There is something else besides diapers we can do, so he can sleep all night. Being wet wakes him up and wakes everyone at home since he has to be helped to get into dry PJs and new diapers. It happens 1 or 2 times at night. He goes to bed at 8 pm. First wetting is about 1 am and then at 5 am.

- better diapers. If you google something like "most absorbent adult diapers" you will find sites that have done comparisons for you, there are also companies that may offer samples.
- a good under pad to quickly contain any overflow
- since he is peeing at regular times it might be easier to get him up to use the toilet/commode/urinal before then
- check with his doctor, if he is on a diuretic you may want to tweek the timing, if there are prostate issues there may be helpful solutions
- some on the forum have had success using condom catheters

Cut down on fluids close to bedtime. A better quality brief.

My mom had leaking issued during the day. My friend told me about TotalDry. I researched and bought their protective underwear and ultimate boost ups. The difference has been amazing. She used to leak all the time, now she does not. I’ve read that the x-plus fitted briefs with the boost up is best for overnight. The briefs can be adjusted to fit more snugly. No matter what, add a booster pad!
