Find Care & Housing
Have you contacted a local Home Health Care agency?

How long has this nighttime paranoia been going on? Sometimes it is "sundowning" which is frequently a symptom of dementia.

A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) should be ruled out first and foremost.

Have you talked to her doctor about this?

With my mom, having a "stranger" in the house didn't help. Only having one of us did and as we all had jobs, we needed to move her to an Independent Living Facility, where there were always people around.

You should contact an agency and explain what is needed. Actually contact several so that you can compare cost.
Make sure that you tell them that this is just overnight companion care that no help is needed with medications.
You might even want to check with your local Community college. Ask if they have a CNA program or Nursing program. An overnight companion job might be perfect for a student. If you go this route make sure that you have background checks done. (that might already have been done by the College) And make sure proper paperwork is done so that there is proof that the care is paid for, taxes are taken out.
It might be time to look for Assisted Living or if mom has dementia Memory Care as often the delusions, paranoia get worse and more help is necessary
