We just recently moved my parents to our son's home. My husband and two children have excluded me in communications about their well being. My father fell and no one told me. The three of them knew this information and kept it from me. How do I get them to understand that “ family dynamics” won’t work here? We all need to be informed.

What are the "family dynamics" you speak of?

This sounds like a complicated situation. Who has medical and financial POA? Who goes to medical appointments with dad?

How much hands on caregiving does each of you do?

What I don't understand is "My husband and two children have excluded me in communications about their well being."

Are you and Husband not together? Why did you move your parents?
I think there is more to this than you are saying.

Is your son the 24/7 caregiver? Does he have a family? Does he work? Who else provides care? Son may be overwhelmed with the care or roof that he provides. Maybe he is finding this stressful and struggles with doing the things he needs to do in his life?

So much of the answer to your question depends on what happened, when, and why.

Your father, who lives with your mother in your son's home, had a fall. When? What was the result of the fall?
