He sleeps anywhere from 16 to 20 hours a day unless we have to go to a dr app't. We come home as soon as we can and he goes straight to bed

What do his doctors say about this?

We lived with my husband's LBD for 10 years. He took a medication for excessive daytime sleepiness for many of those years. It helped allow him to lead a somewhat active life.

At the very end he slept more and more, in spite of the medication. When he got up to 20 hours a day we brought in hospice care.

So from my own experience I'd say daytime sleepiness is consistent with an LBD diagnosis. It can be treated. The kind of sleepiness that comes in the final stage is not treatable.
