Talk to her MD, because this is a serious sign of decline.

Definitely signs of increased depression. Need to take her and all of her medications to doctor. She could be either over medicated, have some negative interaction between meds, or need med/meds dose or type changed. I have been clinically depressed and have anxiety issues which are mostly taken care of by Paxil and Klonopin. Years ago prozac worked. More recently it was tried on me again...felt like my head had ants crawling inside. I would have done almost anything to make it stop. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. Thank God doctor made immediate medication change!

cindy, the big problem is the generic Prozac. Every time I took it, it had different effects on me. I finally dumped Prozac and switched to Cymbalta. Now Cymbalta is generic too, but I'm having better luck.

I also wonder if she's feeling depressed because she's isolated. Could you try to get her interested in going to daycare while you're at work? Or get some friends to visit and/or take her out?

What are her nighttime sleep habits? My mom naps all day, no energy, took her to an ENT yesterday at the reccomendation of her neurologist who suspected sleep apnea. She wakes me 3-5x a night, I'm on Paxil now. No apnea, afraid to give her Klonopin because she will soak the bed. No memory of nights whatsoever, she thinks she sleeps fine. I'm exhausted.
