I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you looking for suggestions for things that are easy to eat or nutritious or for recipes or persuading the older person to actually eat?

As you are new, you are still finding your way around the site. Welcome! If you look at the top blue band on the right hand side, you will see ‘CARE TOPICS’. Click on it, and you get an alphabetic list of topics. Scroll down to ‘Diet and Nutrition’, and you will find links to about 1000 Articles, Questions, and Discussions. Check a few for general information, and then come back to the Forum to ask the particular things that you want to know. Best wishes, Margaret

Are you the person who is in need of care? You are very welcome to the forum, it is fine if you are, it's just that many forum members are used to looking after somebody else, so coming from a slightly different angle, if you see what I mean.

What sort of ideas about diet and nutrition are you looking for? Have you been advised to change the kinds of foods you eat, for example?

You eat junk and... you'd like to change that?

If you'd like to say a little more about what would help you make those changes, I'm sure lots of people will have ideas that appeal to you.

Were you used to cooking for a family before?
