Mom is 96. She sees her doctor regularly and her blood work is always perfect. (Wish mine was as good!) She is not depressed. I live with her. My sister and nieces and nephews see her regularly. Her appetite is good. She enjoys using both her "WOW computer and reading mystery stories on her Kindle. BUT she sleeps 14 hours at night an still naps. Should I make her get up and dress?

Good heavens, she is 96, that is wonderful but she is tired... that's a long life to live. Let her sleep 14 hours with naps in-between, she has earned it :)

My parents are in their mid-90's and they still get up with the roosters, and brag they only need 6 hours of sleep... of course, they never count the hour or two nap after breakfast... another hour or two after lunch... and the same after dinner.
