Thank you for your input.
She is now in transition stage. She has been unable to swallow. So we are using a macy catheter. Horrible, but neccesary.
It will be sad
She is my first, and a close friend of the family. I will continue to learn, and turn to this site for advice.
I think I have what it takes. Patience, listen and speak slowly, and compassion. I have found my calling.

Do you mean Haldol? Is she have a bad experience or side effects from this med?

It's an antipsychotic, but may also be used to treat agitation, nausea and vomitting.

Haldol can also be used to treat schizophrenia and Tourette's syndrome.

It's not recommend for the demented elderly.
